Today, the world slows down.
Not because of the presents, or the twinkling lights, or the snowy stillness of the Brainerd Lakes Area…
But because unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given.
While the culture rushes to unwrap gifts and rush through cinnamon rolls, we pause in awe.
God took on flesh — not in a palace, but in a manger.
Not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.
As a real estate agent, I spend most of the year helping people buy and sell homes. But today, I am reminded that our greatest hope is not found in lakefront properties or square footage.
Our greatest hope is found in Christ alone, the One who came to dwell among us, full of grace and truth.
This Christmas morning, whether you're surrounded by family or spending the day quietly, my prayer for you is simple:
That your heart would be lifted to the wonder of the gospel.
That your soul would find rest in the finished work of Jesus.
And that your home would be filled with truth, peace, and joy rooted in Him.
We celebrate because He came.
We have peace because He reigns.
And we have hope because He’s coming again.
